About

My greatest passion in life is teaching. I was born and raised in Texas, and experienced great success at school due to amazing and unforgetable teachers. Similarly I want my students to experience the same path of learning, where they can encounter success. This is the foundation of my commitment to helping out my students, whatever their abilities may be. I have a strong passion of learning and hope to instill that same passion in my students.

I enjoy helping others and making them realize that learning can be fun and easy, no matter what it requires. For 3 years I have been a part of Helping Seniors, Key Club, and Red Cross. Learning is a very important part of my life, as it aspires us to explore more and I would love to share my knowledge with others.

I strongly recommend Parsa. With only 2 weeks of preparation before my exam, she has helped me understand the concepts of mathematics. I was pleased with all of the tips and personalized information given to help my specific needs. It was such a blessing to work with someone who is truly helpful in making sure you succeed. She helped me grasped the material and in the end achieve a passing score on my exam. Thank you Parsa!

Parsa was very professional and knowledgeable. She helped our son with 6th grade math-- dependent and independent variables, fractions and decimals. She was able to help our son better understand these concepts. This was our first tutoring session. We believe she will be very helpful in working with our son over the summer, so that he has a good foundation, prior to going into 7th grade.

Parsa was extremely patient in teaching me as I am not the fastest learner when it comes to learning a new language. She was prepared and had what she wanted to go over in our first time laid out for me. She started with the very basic vowels and consonants. She is very nice and I look forward to having more sessions with her.

My child was very lost when she started learning math. She always got nervous and agitated, however after support she had improved drastically. Definitely would recommend.

Frequently asked questions

When working with a student, the most important aspect of the entire process is building a rapport. At this point in time, students have potentially struggled with various topics, so the importance of instilling confidence in them before any tutoring begins is essential to their success. Nevertheless, prior to scheduling sessions, I like to meet with the student and/or parent(s). We work hand in hand to build their specialized plan of action. Students create a detailed description of their current situation and their desired results. Next, we come up with a set of goals and how to implement the plan of action apprpriately in order to accomplish said results. This plan depends on the immediate needs of the student, but many plans include some sort of accommodation to pre and post- session communication in order to track progress.

I have tutored at other institutions like Eye Level Tutoring Center before, where I have tutored elementary and middle school students in various subjects. I am proficient in elementary math, reading, science, and social studies, Algebra I & II, Geometry, English I,II, & III, Biology, and Chemistry.

I charge $25 per hour and $20 for 45 minutes, and $15 for 30 minutes.

I first started teaching for a non-profit organization that teaches students about faith for 3 years. A few years later I shifted to Eye Level Tutoring Center where I taught students for 2 years.

I have worked with elementary, middle, and high school students.
