I provide private tutoring services for kindergarten through 9th grade students in math. I'm verse in a variety of curriculums ranging from ; common core, Cambridge(British) and NYS Common Core. I have 3+ years of professional tutoring experience.I’m a member of The Association for the Coaching and Tutoring Profession (ACTP),National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) and The American Institute of Architecture Students ( AIAS).I understand that students have different learning styles.All my lessons are tailored to suit each student’s learning style, I use the initial session "Get to know me session" as an opportunity to get to know my students strengths, struggles, activities they enjoy, how they learn, etc. I use real life examples, and break down concepts in the simplest way possible, my goal is to instill confidence in all my tutees one lesson at a time. My services are provided remote/online only with an interactive white board(parents and students have access to all learning materials and notes after sessions ) All tutees receive a free assessment (optional), and a customized learning plan.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I do "get to know me" sessions. Before initial tutoring sessions. This helps me understand the students learning style , expectations, struggles, strength and how they feel about the subject matter.
