About
Math sucks and for the most part (depending on your future major) you wont be using it in your daily life. Personally, i dont like math but ironically it happens to be the one thing im good at.
My end goal is to get you to understand the concepts, which in my opinion is the most important. Now for my boring "stats": I have been tutoring on and off since high school, with my highly impressive math skills that would have been 7 years ago. I have had the opportunity to teach a few 7th grade level classes which have given me a chance to try different teaching methods.
if you are struggling with any math i can promise with a 90% i will be able to help. if your in that 10% i dont know man that sucks;
Looking forward to help!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
one thing i have learned since i started tutoring is that every student is different. I dont have a set process, i talk to the student to see what they dont like when it comes to teaching and i take it from there. understanding is key.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been tutoring on and off since highschool, which would be 7 years ago. I have also had the opportunity to teach a few 7th grade classes which have given me chances to interact with many types of students.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My first lesson would be half off (8/hr)
and the rest would have a standard pricing (16/hr)
How did you get started teaching?
my classmates in highschool needed help so i started tutoring them, i dont want to admit this but i was kind of the teachers pet (nothing wrong with this) back then so alot of my teachers or at least the ones who liked me let me get invovled in alot of the curriculum. i remember my first ever "gig" was a classmate and i have been doing it ever since.
What types of students have you worked with?
i have worked with students ranging from first grade all the way to college level students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
i have had many good experinces with student, but the one that stuck with me was teaching my nephew how numbers work. He loves to sing so i made a song for him about numbers and its been one of the best moments i have had with him.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
find someone you can be comfortable with, someone that works with how you learn.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
i think students should think through every problem before talking to a teacher. One thing i recommend when a student is having problems with a few questions is to take a short breaksometimes doing that works.
even if a student cant figure out how to do the work, i want them to know that its okay to not know it. it doesnt make them stupid, everyone has needed help; including me.
