About

I recently graduated from Texas State University with a B.S. in Mathematics. I am currently working on my teaching certification. I have 5 years of successful tutoring experience and flexible hours. I believe the best way to teach is to help the student understand how to get the answer, not just what the answer is. I have a passion for learning and sharing knowledge.

She was able to make everything make sense. When we were done I actually understood what I was doing not just following a set of standard rules. I will definitely use her again and recommend to my friends.

Frequently asked questions

The first tutoring session is typically used to get to know the student and their learning style. Everyone learns differently, so I adjust my strategies and tutoring to fit each individual.

I was private tutor at Texas State University and I recently graduated with a degree in Mathematics. I have 5 years of experience.

I typically charge $30/hour.

I have always loved learning and I wanted to share this passion with others. I started tutoring in high school and I absolutely loved it.

I have worked with a wide range of ages. I have worked with elementary students all the way to college students. I often helped my younger sister learn her school curriculum. She has dyslexia so I found ways to help her understand.

Look for someone who is passionate about tutoring and has experience. These tutors know different techniques and are always ready to help.

Which subjects do you need help with, what topics in that subject, what do you struggle with the most, and what have you already tried.
