TSI/ MATH

I am an award-winning Mathematics educator with extensive experience in secondary and higher education, as well as international educational programs. Throughout my career, I have taught advanced mathematics, personal finance, college readiness, study skills, and college orientation while helping students prepare for the TSI examinations.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Business Administration in International Trade from Texas A&M International University, and Texas teaching certifications in Mathematics and Political Science. My professional experience includes teaching in multiple Texas school districts, serving as an adjunct professor at area colleges, and working internationally as a Mathematics Advisor supporting students and mentoring educators.

I am passionate about student success, innovative teaching, and building strong partnerships between schools, families, businesses, and community leaders. My commitment to education has been recognized through numerous honors, including the Jefferson Award for Public Service, Rio Grande Studies International Educator of the Year, H-E-B Excellence in Education semifinalist recognition, and Teacher of the Year honors.
