About
I’m Michael Camp, the owner of Camp Math. I have been a math & physics tutor for the past 7 years, working at the middle school, high school, and college undergraduate levels. I’ve also taught regular & advanced high school math classes for several years. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and have also completed extensive coursework in Computer Science, which speaks on my nuanced understanding of the material I tutor in.
My tutoring services are set apart through a personalized & student-centered approach: I am clear, patient, and supportive, and place great emphasis on the student being an active participant throughout our sessions. My services are also greatly enhanced by my use of technology: for each tutoring session, I create a customized, interactive presentation. This provides the student with a organized place of reference and practice, even after our sessions has ended.
