I understand that everyone learns differently. Some learns better by reading, some by listening, and some learns best by visualing. With the experience of tutoring a variety range of college students with different learning skills and background, I am confident with my ability to productively tutor a new student in the most understandable way for him/her individually. I flexibly modify my teaching skills so that it matches the student's learning style.

The unique factor about my tutoring service is that, aside with tutoring the materials, I care a great deal about the students' success, and I know how to motivate them to work their best. Once the student knows that I care and see my enthusiasm in his/her academical success, it creates the bond between me and the student which makes the tutoring more effective and more approachable. 

1. Work experience

I currently have worked as a Math Tutor at the University of North Texas for almost a year.

I tutor the university's student athletes with weekly one-on-one sections. I work closely with around 17 students per semester on their academical performance.

During my tutoring sections, I teach the materials and review the materials that were covered in class with students. I also assist them with homework and assignments and perform test reviews to help them prepare for the upcoming tests. For the best results, I adjust the presentation of materials based on students learning styles.

As a part of the job, I document students' progress, achievements and learning issues and report it to my supervisor.

I care about my students’ success, and I go beyond just tutoring them. I teach them how to learn and introduce them to the most suitable learning styles. I also motivate and guide students to help them achieve their academic goals. I love helping them improve, and I take pride in my students’ achievements.

2. Academical support

I earned a minor in Mathematics at the University of North Texas with a GPA of 4.0

I won the First Place in the Southwest region at the AMATYC Student Math League in 2017, meaning that I achived the highest score among the competitors in the southwest region of America. 

I have worked with many types of students with varied learning styles and different academical backgrounds. 

I would advise students to look for a teacher that cares and puts all his/her into the job that he/she does.
