About
We provide Math, Reading, and Writing support for children of all abilities ages 4-14 years old. We take a unique and individualized learning plan dedicated to meet each child where they are, and develop confidence in them to take on learning with no fear; to birth love into the learning that they do on a daily basis. We are aligned to the TEKS objectives and have an engaging curriculum that prepares students for tests like COGAT and PACE, and STAAR.
We enjoy working with children, period. We love what they can bring to the learning table. They have such a key insight to life that adults don't often take the time or have as much time to embrace and cultivate. The work that we do at Explore is an extension of our educational background. As educators, we know that learning goes beyond the textbooks; it's an experience that will carry with children for a lifetime. It's the fabric of creativity and innovation that spurs from a gifted mind, that has been modled and sculpted by the foundation of their education. Explore does a fantastic job at providing that to every learner that walks into their building.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, we take the time to learn about our students: who are they, what are their interests, what are their hobbies, how involved are they with afterschool activities, what do they like to read, etc. Then we learn about their needs in depth, about why they are seeking tutoring. We want to get to know their strengths and their 'strengths in development' (we don't like using the word weakness) and develop a plan together that's going to work best for them individually. Then, we begin the process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our staff brings a diverse set of skills and knowledge to the Center. Our tutors are studying advancing majors in college and our staff graduated with different sets of honors from their respected educational institutions. What we all bring is our passion for kids and for shaping their future through education. We all receive daily and monthly training to stay updated with the changes that typically happens with education.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our membership fees are based upon the grade level of the child(ren). We have a wonderful referral program that saves you $120 a year (that's only for 1 referral, imagine if you referred more). For more information, we ask that you contact us.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with children of all abilities. No matter if they have a learning difference, are working ahead of their peers, or just trying to go from 'okay' to 'great', we create an unique plan for every individual child.

What questions should students think through before talking to tutors about their needs?
Never believe you're asking a 'dumb question.' Every question has a purpose beyond it. The more you ask, the more your purpose becomes evident, the better and quicker your solution/answer becomes clear. Ask any and all questions.
