About
I've been in Secondary Mathematics Education since 2006 teaching everything from Algebra 1 to Calculus, from students needing extra support, to those in the gifted and talented program. While tutoring, I've had the opportunity to be the math teacher of record for homeschool students, and to tutor students in public schools, magnets schools and private. I have a degree in Mathematics and a Masters in Secondary Mathematics Education. I’ve most recently had the privilege to teach in one of the best high schools in Texas working with 8th Grade Algebra 1 students, high school geometry and Algebra 2. I love preparing students for their future including making sure their foundation is solid for PSAT and SAT.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically I like to hear from both the parent and student about what is needed. Each session is generally planned out beforehand to either work on homework, reteach a lesson, study for a test, etc. Some families also chooose to use summer to make sure their students are ready for the next school year.
