I have been a licensed Educator (EC-4) for 18 years and have worked with children even longer than that. Before I became a teacher, I raised and homeschooled my own children. I am trained in The Science of Reading and love teaching elementary math strategies. Sometimes, a child's struggle can be overcome with individual one-on-one help and a different strategy based on how the student learns. Not all children learn the same. The ability to differentiate and understand how a student learns is key. Also important, is partnering with parents, building relationships with families and supporting educational needs to help children reach their goals.
