I am a teacher and professor of calculus, college algebra, college intermediate algebra, statistics, OnRamps computer science, algebra II, geometry, and algebra I. I can also advise on ACT/SAT and STAAR testing (Texas) and am capable of understanding why a failure in the foundation leads to trouble in higher-level mathematics. I am the math advisor for other tutors.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Let's understand where you went to school, what you learned, what you had the most trouble with, what your favorite thing about math is, then begin working on what you are going to do with math -- where are you headed with it. THEN we go through what you need to be better on and the specifics on what you currently need help with. OR... if you just need help with an assignment or examination and you just want answers or the logical reasoning of why the answers are the way they are, then ask.
