About
When first introduced to a new student, I take the time to gain an understanding of what type of learner they are. There are four main types of learning styles that students usually adhere to: Visual, Auditory, Read/Write, and Kinesthetic. I get to know students on a basic level, that way I can decide which learning style works best for them. I am currently a student in college and I am constantly learning more teching methods to apply to my tutoring. I have received academic awards and I ended my last semester with a 4.0 GPA. I work very well with kids and teens, and know how to keep them engaged in school work due to my fun interactive teaching methods.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I let the student become familiar with who I am so they can become comfortable around me. I then gain familiararity with the student so I can learn which learning style best suits them. Afterwards I look at the students transcript to see which areas they need more assistance with. Through out the tutoring process I provide a variety of learning modules, tools, and interactive learning games to help improve students recall memory and make the learning process more enjoyable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed a variety courses throughout my academic experience that have prepared me to tutor students in grades 1 to 6. I am currently in school myself, so I am familiar with different teaching styles and have professional educators nearby. I have even worked closely with some classmates of mine after class to help imrove their grades.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My set rate is $20 an hour and I do advise that students see me a minimum of 3 hours a week to receive noticeable improvements. Discounts are available.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from multiple backgrounds. I pride myself in gaining an understanding of where my students come from and their learning history so I can educate them properly.
