I have over 11 years of experience in education, working with elementary students to strengthen their reading, writing, and comprehension skills. Throughout my career, I have received professional development and classroom training in literacy instruction, phonics intervention, guided reading, writing development, and differentiated instruction to support students at various learning levels. My background as an educator has equipped me with the skills to identify student learning gaps and create personalized strategies that help students build confidence and achieve academic success. I also have experience working with students who need additional support in reading fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing organization. In addition to my educational experience, I am passionate about mentoring and encouraging students through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement to help them become successful lifelong learners.

Yes, I offer structured tutoring rates based on grade level to ensure students receive age-appropriate support and instruction. Grades 3–5 (Elementary): $45 per hour Grades 6–8 (Middle School): $55 per hour Grades 9–12 (High School): $65 per hour Lessons are personalized to meet each student’s academic needs in reading and writing, including comprehension, fluency, vocabulary development, essay writing, and study skills. Flexible scheduling options may also be available.

I got started teaching because I have always had a passion for helping children learn and grow. Early in my career, I realized how much I enjoyed working with students one-on-one and helping them overcome challenges in reading and writing. Seeing a student gain confidence after finally understanding a skill or improving academically inspired me to pursue education full-time.
