I hold a K-12 teacher certification. I am a former special education teacher who loves to help students succeed. My passion for helping students discover their strengths and ways to improve in the areas that challenge them is what sets me apart from other instructors. My background in special educations allows me to be able to think outside the box when it comes to reframing and presenting concepts in a way students can understand. My ultimate desire is to guide you or your child to a love of learning.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I take the time to get to know students first. I like to know what they are interested in, what motivates them, and how they like to learn. I then ask them to describe what challenges them about learning and how they think I can best help them.

I hold a K-12 teaching certificate.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What am I good at? In what areas can I most improve? Do I really want to learn how to get better? Am I willing to put in the work it will take to improve?
