At Uplink, we consider ourselves lifelong learners - we believe that the value of an education lies not only in landing a job, but moreover in creating a reliable framework through which one can navigate life. Our team of dedicated educators understand that individuals need individual attention, and we utilize our extensive subject knowledge to equip students with practical, applicable, and durable understandings that will translate to skills which can serve them for years to come.
We love showing students that they are capable of learning anything they set their mind to, given the right learning tools and attitude. A good tutor can change a student's whole year and even their mindset about their own ability to learn. Our goal in every session is to see the spark in our students' eyes when a missing piece clicks into place and they reach a new moment of understanding.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When we first meet our students, we work together with them to assess their strengths and weaknesses. Then we create a custom plan designed to meet their most immediate needs, fill in specific knowledge gaps, and drive focus on areas in which they have the most room to improve.
If a student needs help in multiple subjects, we can schedule you with multiple tutors who are each specialized in their respective subjects. Every session is flexible and designed to help each student not only complete their course work, but also to guide them into a sense of real understanding and confidence in their own abilities.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our tutors are specialized in the subjects they teach. Our primary English tutor has a masters degree and currently teaches high school english. Our primary Science tutor holds a biochemistry degree, and our math tutors both hold mathematics degrees.
