About
I do not simply hand out answers, I make sure the student is able to teach it back to me as he/she will fully grasp the concept upon completion of the session. I will help you master the topics you are struggling with. Also, if needed, I will go into professor mode and prepare a lecture like you would see in school in efforts to teach anything to you!
I enjoy seeing my students succeed, especially when they understand something and go "ohhhhh I got it now!"

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Evaluation of the student's needs is a priority so that I can prepare the necessary materials to ensure that the student is able to fully comprehend the subject we are tutoring for. Whether it be homework help or engaging in a full lecture, I will ensure the student leaves with more knowledge than he/she had before the session. If desired, I will take time to prepare a lesson plan to further teach that student if agreements are made for future recurring tutoring sessions. I am here to help.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I taught elementary school students through UTeach and I hold a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Neuroscience. I will be obtaining my second Bachelor in Nursing in 1-years time. I have a lot of experience mentoring and tutoring peers on a wide range of topics such as Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry, English for ESL students, Algebra 1 & 2, Calculus 1 & 2, sales & communication, Stock & Equities Trading, and many more.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $20 per hour for in-depth lectures where the student needs my help either teach or reteach a concept so he/she is able to fully understand and apply their knowledge to a multitude of problems that may appear on their exams. Homework help will be $10 - $15 per hour depending on the topic and difficulty.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching through group collaborations at UT Austin where critical thinking and verification among other students were required. I officially began teaching when I pursued UT's UTeach program.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with elementary, high school, and college students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am fond of the determination my peers and current students have at this current moment where we are experiencing Covid-19. Despite the challenges, everyone is trying their best and are determined to graduate and/or finish the semester!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure to hire someone that knows how to teach and not just hand out answers. You want to get the most out of the session so why not learn the concept so that you fully understand it!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students need to identify the concepts they are struggling with and if students are here for homework help, please identify the specific topic so that I am able to acquire the necessary materials so the tutoring process is transparent and easy to understand for you!
