I spent most of my career in business. 2 Masters Degrees & a U. S. Army Veteran. I’ve raised 4 kids (now all grown) and now teach Middle School Math. I love the interactions I get on a daily basis when we tie the familiar to whatever math objective we’re trying to get across. All students learn differently-I seek to find the connection that meets their individual path to success.

I love bringing the practical to the academic. Ex: A “rectangular prism” is actually a box of Froot Loops! (Let’s not make things difficult!) Math is enjoyable when it makes sense. I’ve deployed numerous practical applications inside the classroom, small groups & in tutoring. I wouldn’t teach without it.
