And we just need the fundermentals to do it. Because we can all add, subtract, mutiply, and divide. So if we can do the simple things then . the complex Math will look for us. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Get to know the student. Get to know how the student prefers to study. Build a professional mutual relationship with the student. Then show the student their ability. Select the easy parts and make them realize that the hard parts are also very easy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a double Major in Chemistry and Math. I have been training Chemistry and Math for 4 years. I have a tutoring certificate in Math. And also an associate in Chemistry. I have earned respect and pride out of tutoring and I love doing it. Because i love getting the positive feedback from my students.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge my student 20$ per hour if they are booking 3 or less hours. But I charge them 15$ if they book 4 and more hours.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been professionally teaching for 4 years. But my entire has been full of teaching. I am always teaching my couisns and siblings.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with almost all types of students. If you think that a subject is hard, easy, challenging, and you just need clarity about yourself. Then you sholud try me. Because i am the perfect teacher for almost any student.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am currently training Math tutors for the Math-villain-society and they love being led by me.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Get to know that teacher who is giving you knowledge and measure their credibility. A teacher must suit your personality or understand you as a mentee.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Always use a K-W-L chart. What you know, What you Want to know, and What you will Learn.
