About
I have a passion to share my knowledge with others. I have explained math problems to other students as long as I can remember since math comes naturally to me. I especially enjoy the moment when the light bulb comes on for a student.
My name is Risto Djishev and I’m a senior at Energy High School. My GPA is 4.745 and I’m ranked #2 in my class. I’m starting Rice University in August 2021 on a full ride. In 2020 I did an externship with IPAA/PESA Energy Education Center, I did research for the MIT Beaver Works piPact project related to Bluetooth technology and tracking of COVID-19 infections as well as a second project for MIT-Lemelson sponsored JV Invent research to design and construct a filament recycling unit for 3D printers.
I have won first place in a chess tournament and with my VEX and FRC robotics team on a district level competition.
I’ve taken the following AP classes: Calculus BC, Statistics, World History, Computer Science Principles, US History, English Language and Composition, English Literature, Physics, Psychology, Biology, US Government, English Literature, Human Geography, Environmental Sustainability, and Microeconomics.
In my free time I enjoy playing chess, fishing, and going to the gym.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you!
Risto
