About
As a recent college graduate, I understand the struggle many students go through of trying interpret material in an easy to understand way. My age and my proximity to being a student allow me to help students understand material in everyday language that can be understood and retained. Similarly, from 3+ years of tutoring experience my students always tell me what they enjoy most about working with me is my ability to slow down and breakdown material in an efficient way that helps retain the information in a personalized learning structure!
My favorite part about tutoring is getting to know someone and being able to use what they enjoy and help that relate that to math material to show that math can be enjoyable and understood by everyone. Additionally, I love working with people and helping them build their confidence especially in areas they have previously struggled in. When my students are succeeding and enjoying the work they do, I love being able to celebrate along with them.
