Stephan Powell
About
Hey guys! My name is Stephan Powell, and I graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics with a Computer Science Minor from the University of Texas in Arlington with a major GPA of 3.6 and will begin pursuit of a Computer Science Master’s degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology this upcoming fall. I am currently working full time as a Computer Assisted Manufacturing Engineer a role in which I have been entrusted with the two months of training for the two most recent additions to our team. While still in university I routinely volunteered my time in the Math Laboratory where I found that I thoroughly enjoyed being able to pay it forward and being able to help my fellow students. I take pride in my ability to break down difficult topics from Calculus to Analysis and make it more easily digestible for any audience. I infuse my personality and laughter into my teachings which helps make the content seem more fun and approachable and the lessons more enjoyable. The most important aspect to me is the personal connection which allows me to understand the pupil and tailor a more unique learning experience that will enable them to absorb the content in the most favorable fashion.
