I am good at what I do.I have been teaching math for the last 20 years.I tutored students who were struggling math in the past through friend referrals.I taught different fields of Mathematics in my 20 total years of teaching.I am a certified Math teacher in the state of Texas.I was a teacher in the Philippines for 9 years and 11 years now here in Texas.
I want to help others see the beauty of Mathematics as a special discipline.I enjoy my work especially when I help student realize that everything can be learned as long as you put effort,time ,and dedication into it.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I do a pretest of the subject that a student is needing a help to gauge his or her prior knowledge of the subject.Sometimes I ask what specific lesson they need help at.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in Mathematics Education.I am a certified math teacher in the State of Texas and currently teaching Precalculus and AP Statistics.

I charge 35 dollars an hour with a minimum of one hour and maximum of two hours per session.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching way back in the Philippines in 1997.I came here in Texas in 2006 and continue doing what I love doing as a math teacher in one of the high schools in DFW metroplex.
What types of students have you worked with?
Elementary,middle and high school students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you happen to hire a math teacher and you still do not get it, try another teacher.It is just a matter of connection.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They have to assess and ask themselves first of why they struggle in math.
