Greetings! I am a certified Texas teacher with a current license for Pre k - 6th grade. I have been teaching for 9 years in public schools in Fort Worth and Crowley ISD and 3 years at Tate Springs Christian School. I have experience teaching Pre k 3 - 4th grade in reading, writing, and math. Learning though playing games is the most engaging ways to learn, if a concept can be taught this way, it should be. I offer tutoring at my house for small groups (no more than 4) or one on one.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The typical process when working with a new student is speaking to the parent to see what they have noticed their child struggling with and if the teacher has communicated any concerns. After I gather information from the adults, I will play some games with the student to start conversation to get to know them and see what they feel they need help on. After the first meeting with the student, I will come up with a plan to best fit them and their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS from Texas Tech in education. I have taught for the past 9 years grades pre k - 4th. I am a certificed teacher with the state of Texas EC-6th grade.

I don't have a standard pricing system for my lessons. I am a teacher at heart and will do my best to accommodate all families to help their child.
