About
I have graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UTEP in 2018. I have always had a passion for helping classmates and friends learn difficult subject matters throughout high school and college. Now I am reaching out to offer my expierences in order to assist others in learning, especially during this difficult time with limited face to face time with teachers at school. Throughout my time in school I took numerous Math, Physics and Chemistry classes, the three subjects i enjoy the most. Please reach out for any questions and I'd be happy to help.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first thing I like to to do when working with a new student is to find out what concerns they may have, whether it's a specific homework assignment, preparing for a test or learning the subject matter in general, in order to best adress their needs. I also like to learn what they enjoy in order to make tutoring sessions more relatable and enjoyable overall.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have received a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and as such, took numerous courses in Math (up tp Calculus 3 and Differential Equations), Physics (Mechanics and Electromagnetics) and Chemistry 1 and 2, as well as courses designed to test the knowledge learned in these general areas and applying them to engineering problems.
How did you get started teaching?
My experience comes throughout school, starting back in middle school and high school and continuing in high school, assisting classmates and friends in the math and sciences areas, where students tend to struggle the most. I try to break the lessons down to the simplest form, helping others to understand some of the mroe complex ideas.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked mainly with college and high school students preparing for exams and assisting with homework assignments.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who is both passionate about what they teach and extremely knowledgable in their areas. Somebody with experience helping others will benefit you by them understanding the places students typically get stuck and being able to get you passed that point.
