I am a college student who has attended a French school since 1st grade. I am fluent in French and have passed the brevet (a final exam taken in France and other European countries in order to evaluate a student's overall knowledge in different subjects and languages) with a Mention Tres Bien (highest grade possible). In addition, in recent years, I took the AP French exam and got a 5/5.
I am a recent high school graduate with lots of experience as a volunteer tutor (especially for college admissions and test prep) who has been accepted to Columbia, Georgetown, Emory and Johns Hopkins University among others. I have lots of time and attention to devote to my students and will work with you in whatever way I can until you understand the material.
Fluency Corp works with companies like Samsung, Amazon and Intel, creating insanely relevant language training programs for individual employees, large groups, or small groups, online with a live instructor or in the office or home, for employees and their families.
As a tutor, I like to know my students’ specific needs and build connection with them. Tutoring makes possible a learning environment of reciprocity, one in which I learn from my students as they learn from me. I encourage students to think about the tutoring session(s) as a forum that welcomes and encourages a free exchange of ideas.
My commitment to education inspires students to learn and grow with dignity.
Hi I'm Sasha and I'm a college student studying international business at UCSD. I don't have a bachelors degree, I'm not AP certified, and I'm not your typical tutor. I could tell you all my qualifications like how French is my native language and how I've been studying it my entire life here at Dallas international school, but that doesn't mean I'll be a good teacher. I've been succesfull at this not because of my knowledge in the subject, but because I'm a people person. I like having a laugh and getting to know everyone I work with so that sessions are exciting and looked forward too. I've tutored everyone from primary schoolers to univers

One thing I love about tutoring is learning about my students. Understand their way of learning, getting used to it, thinking, or finding a way to help someone understand. For example, for visual learners, I create powerpoints, animations, things that will allow the student not to feel obligated or forced to learn but rather enjoy the adventure.
I am a professional language teacher. I teach French and English as second language. I can explain French grammar lessons in English and vice versa. Contact me today on Tutors.com to get my rates and availability.

Pre- calculus is definitely when math begins to get more challenging. I struggled a bit in the first half of it too, but managed to pick my self back up and will strive to help you so the same. Having gone through the course myself, I understand first hand what it's like to see the material for the first time and the initial confusion that comes with it.My goal is to help students feel more confident in their skills and capabilities and make math, the most dreaded subject, more enjoyable and disgestable.
