I am a certified Elementary teacher for Humble ISD in Texas. I have been teaching Elementary students to excel in mathematics for 9 years. I absolutely love math and I use whatever means possible including manipulatives to help students learn.
I love the opportunity and the reward that comes from teaching students knowledge that they can carry with them for a lifetime.

She is the BEST teacher/tutor! She helped my son build his confidence and made him feel like he COULD do the things he thought he couldn't! She took the time to find out his strengths and weaknesses and then took it from there. She's very patient and kind and made a HUGE difference in my son! I would recommend her a thousand times! What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I first meet a student for the first time, I take time to get to know what they like and what they don't like. I use this to my advantage when tutoring to help motivate them. I also continue to encourage them along the way.
