My daughter had Mrs. B for a teacher and loved her math and science class!

Both teachers were fun and engaging.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Relationships are so important! Our first session will be a 'Get to Know Each Other' session. This is where we will determine what exactly we can help the student with, meeting times and game plans, along with the cost.

We do not charge more than $20/hour. Our price is negotiated but once it is agreed upon, we do hold to it.

Once our first meet and game plan is completed, we meet regularly and provide interactive lessons along with materials/recommendations for further independent practice.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Mrs. B. have a Bachelor of Science in Interdisiplinary Studies where she was on the Dean's list, President's list, and Honor's list. She has also been in the process of obtaining her Masters in Education. Mrs. B. has been a teacher, tutor, online tutor, and volunteer in the public school setting for years.

Mr. C. has a Bachelor of Art and graduated a year early. He has multiple years experience in the school setting as teacher, coach, and volunteer. He is an avid reader, mathematician, and science guru daily. Mr. C. loves to spread knowledge using technology such as playing relatable music or video clips.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Never more that $20/hour per person, we are negotiable and understanding that price must be considered. Please feel free to communicate with us, but understand that we need a way to survive as well so please return the consideration.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Knowing what you are needing or hoping to have help with exactly helps gets the sessions going faster. Having materials on hand that show grades or work done can be just as helpful.

For example, 'math' is a broad concept. What in math do you need guidance with? Is there current work your hoping to get help with that you have on hand?
