I get overly excited when the "light bulb" goes off when students get the concept or make the connection between math and real life applications. My experiences include 3 years of teaching at Jr High school and 30 years at community college both situations included tutoring 1-1 and in group settings. I am certified to teach secondary level of courses and I hold both a bachelors and masters degree in Mathematics.
