English Tutoring
About
I'm a current English student at Texas A&M and am in the thick of learning about literature. This gives me the hands on experience of learning well. I've tutored at a college level professionally, but am confident tutoring earlier levels as well.
The English language is my passion! I love literature and words and tutoring is a fun change to make English more accessible to others!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step is to figure out where the student is starting and what areas they need help. Then we come up with some goals. These can vary from things like getting a B in a class or to turn in every assignment on time. Once the goal is in place, I come up with a plan to work with the student to acheive it. Through this plan, we would make specific goals at the beginning of each session. This way the student can observe their own growth and feel the accomplishment of a job well done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a trained tutor at the university level and have also worked with children of all ages in child-care settings.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would suggest a student finds a teacher who believes in them and will take the time to adapt the teaching to the individual student.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are your goals? What do you hope to get out of this? What specific areas are youre strengths and weaknesses?
