Regina Venegas, Literacy Specialist K-12 Tutor

I am a certified teacher and library media specialist with 14 years experience in education. I hold a Master's Degree in Literacy, Language, and Library Science from the University of Houston. I can help students at any level from K - 12. I have a proven track record of improving reading skills for younger students, which in turn improves grammar, vocabulary, and writing. I use a phonics based approach that allows my students to build their literacy skills on a solid foundation. For older students, I can assist with any aspect of English Language Arts and Social Studies, including tutoring for research assignments and thesis papers. I love to watch my students learn and grow.
