Maya Walker-Reich

I attended the University of Vermont for both my undergraduate and graduate studies, receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education in 2018 and my Master's Degree in Special Education K-8th grade in 2021. This will be my 4th year as a Special Education teacher. Based on my background as a Special Education teacher, I am well-equipped to provide tutoring in ELA and math for elementary school students. My experience has honed my ability to understand individual learning styles and adapt my teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. I excel in creating engaging and accessible learning materials, which are essential for helping students grasp complex concepts. Additionally, my strong communication skills enable me to effectively explain concepts and provide constructive feedback, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. Overall, my passion for education and commitment to student success make me a great fit for tutoring elementary school students in ELA and math.
