Hi!
I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan, School of Education, Elementary Education program with a major in Language Arts! I am a certified elementary teacher in all subject areas and am a certified language arts (English) teacher in elementary and middle school grade levels! I am currently teaching in the AISD schools as a 5th grade teacher. I have student taught in 2nd, 4th and 5th grade classrooms and have taught 7th graders over the summer!
I am enthusastic and encouraging with all students I work with! My goal as a tutor is, not only for students and parents to see tangible results, but for students to feel confident and excited about learning!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I believe strongly in getting to know the student and the family. I would be more than happy to set up a meet and greet with parents and the student to better understand how I can best serve their child and make sure that the family believes that I would be a good fit.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I strive to provide students with the most tailored tutoring experience for their needs. I typically like to have students send me the materials they would like to work on a few hours before our session begins so that I can prepare learning strategies for the student.
30 minute session is $20
1 hour session is $40
