I have nine years of classroom experience in elementary and middle schools, both public and private. I have worked with a wide range of ability levels providing remediation as well as enrichment to students with learning differences of all kinds.
I love teaching. I love answering questions and making it safe for kids to ask the questions that they've been afraid to ask their classroom teachers. I love being a supportive guide and coach for kids and adults, and turning obstacles into opportunities for growth!

I like to build rapport with new students through modular origami and a brief assessment of interests and skills. I focus on a student's strengths, and look for ways to support students to understand their strengths and to be a trustworthy adult who can answer questions and support without judgement.
