As a tutor with over 3 years of teaching experience, I create personalized lesson plans for each student. I first do a screening meeting where I collect information about client's struggles and goals they hope to achieve while in tutoring. After that, I develop a long term plan and short term plan we adhere to. My biggest goal is to build skills so that they will not need me to tutor them anymore. My lesson plan typically starts with a check in in the first 10 minutes, then followed by lesson plan of the day, and ends with working on a studying skill such as note taking, Pomodoro technique, Method of Loci, Flashcard, etc. These classes are typically for High school and College Students.
