Duck Out Of Water
About
As a teacher and tutor with over 20 years experience assisting young people and their parents, I know how to pinpoint achievable goals while working toward them in a supportive manner. My professional background in social work compliments tutoring through my communication skills and passion to work with students & families from a variety of backgrounds, including English Language Learners.
Working with young people keeps me young and having fun! If I am not having fun, my students will not enjoy the learning process nor be encouraged to put forth their best. I meet my students' challenges by building respect and placing an emphasis on creative problem solving.
