Math For The Practical Mind

I completed my undergrad in Chemistry in 2002, and received an MBA in 2010. As a dad of a middle schooler and a high school freshman, I’ve had a ring-side view of their journey with learning Math. Being an avid math lover, I have used my classical and traditional math background to help them develop strong foundations and become adept problem solvers. In addition to doing well in school, they have participated in and even won various math competitions such as UIL, AMC 8, and AMC 10.

Teaching them brings great joy and satisfaction to me. They made me realize that I can share some of my passion and love for the subject with others, and help them push their own limits to achieve excellence. And most importantly, have fun while doing it. After all, there’s nothing sweeter than cracking a seemingly insurmountable math problem after wrestling with it for some time.
