About
Whether I'm private tutoring, group tutoring, or doing a demo show for the public, I love helping others discover something new about the universe. I've worked wit h students of all ages, from elementary up through college. I just graduated with my BS in Physics and am preparing for graduate school. My rule of teaching is, a teacher is a learning-leader, and I should always be learning along with my students.
I believe learning should be accessable to all, which is why I keep my tutoring fee low.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked as a Teacher's Assistant for a semester, and was a Learning Assistant the next. Learning Assistant differed from TA in that I was required to take a pedagogy class and the focus was more on engaging students in learning than on grading papers.
My mom was a preschool teacher growing up and so in addition to working with college students, I have experience and love working with younger children.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$30/hour. I will price for as short as 15 min increments, if you want quick online help. Every 4th hour-long session I'll do for free.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with high school and college students in a one-on-one setting, and I've done physics demonstrations for groups of all ages, elementary upward.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you find someone who is encouraging and able to explain things so you understand, not just someone who knows the subject really well.
