About
I am currently a teaching assistant at UT Austin with lots of experience with tutoring, especially in essay writing and editing. As an honors student finishing up undergrad, I am not too far removed from the students and can relate to their situation and needs and build a relationship with them. My writing and essay skills have been refined during my time as a research assistant working with professors to help edit and revise their writing.
My love for learning manifests itself in a love of teaching. I plan to get my Ph.D. and become a professor in the future. I enjoy working with students one on one to develop a relationship and tailor a lesson to their personalized needs. I have been tutoring for six years and enjoy working with every student I teach.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every student has individual needs and deserves a personalized plan. I always start by asking the student what they are learning, what they need help with, and what they already know. I want to make sure that I can help the student come away with more confidence and a better understanding of the subject.
