Craig Gantt

Hello, My name is Craig Gantt. I graduated from University of Texas at Arlington with a Major of Education with a focus on Mid-Level Mathematics in 2020. I also have taken Math classes in College up to Calculus 2 (ll). I gained my teaching certification and taught public school for 2 years and substituted for one year.

I personally love to display, showcase, and give away my knowledge and expertise to those students that desire to learn, acquire more information, and seek Mastery in the subject of Mathematics. I have been classically trained to understand the irritating and disheartening inability to comprehend Math on many levels. I want to help you focus on the process of understanding and hopefully mastering the mathematical concepts you need in order to build the confidence and desire to excel in all future math classes.

As your Instructor/Tutor, I want to you to understand that while my expectations will be high, I will be scaffolding the steps needed for you to succeed. I will focus on giving you more opportunities to practice the Mathematical Concepts on your own and with my support being slowly reduced until you obtain a level of understanding (and/or Mastery) of said Concepts. While you practice, I will be giving you at least two short and quick Formative Assessments per session with one Summative Assessment at the end of the week to ensure your understanding and Mastery of the Math Concepts taught.
