Mrs. Riggs' Reading And Writing Rescue

This is a new venture for me. I am a recently retired elementary school teacher who misses teaching and would like to help students with their academic needs. I taught for 34 years and 24 of those years were at Dan Mills Elementary in Inglewood. My husband and I live in Inglewood with our three dogs and we have two grown sons. Teaching has been such a big part of my life and I miss working with students. I have a Masters Degree in Reading Instruction and my passion is teaching kids to read! I am very patient and kind, always looking for a connection with my students to help make learning fun and more meaningful. I would love to help you with any K-2 curriculum needs you might have.
