About
I believe that my service stands out for many reasons. I have been tutoring for 4-5 years and when I was in school, my friends would always ask me for help in their studies.
I want to make sure that I develop a good relationship with my students so that they enjoy their tutoring. Meeting a new person can be awkward sometimes and I do my absolute best to make my students comfortable. My logic behind this is that if a student is comfortable in their environment then they will have an easier time understanding the information being taught.
I love being a tutor, because I can help students understand topics that may be hard for them. My dream job has always been to be a teacher. I am extremely passionate about making sure that no student falls behind in their learning and making sure that students actually understand the material.
When I was a student, I always wished that I had a good tutor and so I want to be that for my students. During my sessions, I always make sure not to do the work for the student, but instead I walk the student through the steps of how to complete the assignment themselves. I believe that if a student understands how to complete each step of the process, then they will have a better comprehensive understanding of the topic as a whole.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I begin working with a new student, I like to get to know them. I like knowing their study habits, what exactly they need help with, and their personality so I can provide the best care tailored to each student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from a private Catholic high school in Southern California. While in high school, I tutored many of my fellow students and even my younger brother. Aside from people I knew who asked me to tutor them, I was also hired to tutor other students by their parents.
Along with my experience tutoring, I am also currently double majoring in English with an emphasis in Literature and Secondary Education at Belmont University.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
