About
I was a Chicago public school teacher for 17 years, teaching middle school math, algebra and geometry. I tutored at the junior college level as well so I'm able to help with multiple levels and reach students at any age. Using models and manipulatives as well as concrete strategies, ensures that whether you're right brain or left brain dominant, you'll understand the concepts being presented!
ASASE' Academy, located at 480 Jenson Rd in Memphis, TN provides resources for families that homeschool and offers a tutoring facility to assist. Maintaining an environment of peace and productivity with a focus on consciousness and mathematics, we provide children ages 5-13 with quality tutoring using a rigorous curriculum with the focus on college and entrepreneurial readiness!
Our program opens as early as 8 a.m. for those of you homeschooling in the evenings and operates until 6:00 p.m. for those who home school in the mornings. Students will have a variety of learning activities from which to choose such as story telling, research, science experiments and math projects. ASASE' home school assistance program includes homework assistance, art, music, creative writing and movement. A specific program can be tailored for each student and private one-on-one tutoring is also available.
