About
I believe wholeheartedly that finding your passion is the key to success. Also I believe that there cannot be a one-size fits all approach to student success and many paths will be taken towards pursing their dreams. Additionally, I know that students have lives and needs outside of the classroom that oftentimes impacts their performance inside of the classroom. I have worked for several institutions that provide the necessary academic and wrap-around support services will see greater success in academics, student retention and completion. In my experiences at Clarinda, Grantham, Strayer, and Communities in Schools, I have had a great deal of opportunity to assist student in developing individual plans that take into consideration their academic and personal needs of students. I would be honored to help with your academic needs and assist with making a difference.
· My key responsibilities of a tutor are assessing my students learning needs and weakness areas, referring to library sources, explaining theory, answering to student inquiries, helping with assignments, and recommending learning methods. Subjects include Elementary all subjects. English, Literature, Sociology, Family Studies, Psychology and History for Middle, High School and College.
· I look forward to discussing my qualifications further and can be reached by email at or by phone at (913) 669-6272.
My experiences have given me an opportunity to work one-on-one and in group settings with students from diverse ages and backgrounds. Despite their differences, the students all had one thing in common—a desire to realize their goals. I take pride in my work with students and receive personal satisfaction in assisting them in being successful both in and outside of the classroom.
