I taught public school for over 10 years, including 2 years at the state public online school (TNVA). Most of that decade of teaching was for the Knox County Schools district, in various elementary & middle schools. I am certified in the State of Tennessee (license number 000583435) in middle grades education (4 - 8), and have taught and/or tutored all 4 core subjects, including related arts: visual art, PE, mindfulness, STEM/robotics, PBL, reading intervention, and math intervention. I am an independent tutor, but still sometimes substitute teach for Calculating Minds math learning centers.
