What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I'll get to know your child a little bit and talk with them about where they excel and where they need some help. Then I'll assess where they are based on Tennessee math standards and we'll get started working on any gaps that need to be filled in.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a 4th grade math teacher for 6 years. I have also taught 1st grade, as well as reading, science and social studies for 4th grade. I teach at a Knox county school.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$30 an hour for virtual learning and $40 an hour for in person tutoring.
