I'm working on a math education degree, which I should complete within the next couple of years. I ultimately want to teach high school math, so helping people with math is literally want I want to do with my life! I'm looking forward to helping as many students as I can.
I have such a passion for teaching math! Straight out of high school, I worked as a substitute teacher for a little while, and my favorite class to go into was always the math classes, because I actually got to teach the students. It was so much fun and so fulfilling to see them understand a subject that had been giving them trouble after I helped them. I have had so many experiences where I tell people I'm studying math, and they act like it's the worst thing they've ever heard, because they maybe had bad teachers or past experiences with the subject. I want to do what I can to help make it enjoyable and bring that passion to others!
