My name is Gabrielle, and I am a recent college graduate from East Tennessee State University. I double-majored in English and Philosophy and graduated from the Honors College with a 3.987 GPA. There, I participated in two honors programs, won a fiction writing award, and received a Notation of Distinction on my Honors Thesis.
I am an expert in English literature, English Language, and Paper Writing. My educational background ensures that I am up-to-date on writing manuals, essay writing, and assignment interpretation.
Additionally, I have over a year's worth of experience in paper writing, reading, and study skills tutoring. With this experience, I gained key insights on how to tutor different learners and tailor my tutoring style for your preference. I have experience/training for tutoring students with various learning disabilities like dyslexia and autism.
In my fee, I will provide professional tutoring help in the form of phone calls or online video chats. In addition, my fee covers thorough editing of written assignments, which I will use Word track Changes to do. I will answer any quick questions via text or email free of charge.
I love tutoring students because I want to help as many people as possible to uncover the value of a good education. I especially like showing students that what they are learning affects their every day lives. No matter where my students come from or what disabilities they might have, I view all students as capable of academic growth and improvement.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I begin by asking the student about their goals for tutoring and expectations from me. From there, I ask them about their experience with the tutoring topic, study skills, and any other relevant questions. I may ask for previous writing samples to get a feel of the student's current abilities.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I double-majored in English and Philosophy and participated in two honors programs related to my majors. These degrees ensure that I am knowledgeable about paper writing and literature.
I also have over a year's worth of tutoring experience. I was a TRIO Peer Tutor at East Tennessee State University. This tutoring service provided student assistance to low-income, first-generation, or disabled college students. I tutored paper writing, study skills, Calculus 1, Spanish 1/2, and German 1/2.
