About
Struggles with reading, focus, or math? Dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, or Dyscalculia?
As a dedicated Davis facilitator and a long-time educator, I've witnessed the heartache of parents, children, and people of all ages striving to navigate learning disabilities and differences. When my own son struggled with reading, his confidence dimmed—leading to frustration and insecurity. It was painful to watch him realize that he wasn't reading or writing at the same level as his peers and I did not know how to help him succeed.
In my search for help, the Davis Method emerged as the shining solution. Its unique approach works with the student, not against them. This experience ignited my passion to help other people on their journey from confusion to mastery.
A Davis program is transformative, guiding students from feelings of failure to success, and from confusion to clarity. Seeing people grow in confidence and independence is not just fulfilling; it's a dream come true.
I understand the emotional toll of these struggles and have dedicated myself to implementing Davis programs with their creative and effective solutions. The journey may begin with a simple call for a consultation, but the impact can be revolutionary!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I speak with the parent to get an idea of the child's relationship with math, what they have done before in math, and any troubles or learning issues they may have. Then I begin with the student to place them in the correct area in math so that they can progress well, being sure they have understanding of all the math concepts that go before.
When working with students doing flex or virtual school from home I meet with the student via zoom or facetime, getting to know which programs they are using and how their particular assignments are "handed in". I then work with the student, making sure their assignments are understood, worked through, and turned in in a timely manner.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My twin sister has published four math books and a dvd on math philosophy and methods. I have studied this particular philosophy for math and all subjects. I give math consults to mother's wanting to educate their children in these applied methods as well as tutor children with these methods. I have been doing math teaching for 17 years, consults and tutoring for four years.
I am also proficent in the subjects of English and Science.
