About

Hey Tutors.com community!

I am Ashley, with Ashley's Math Tutoring!

I am a 2015 Mathematics and Psychology bachelors degree graduate from Fisk University.

I have been tutoring for over 10 years, and have done so in North Carolina, Tennessee, Indiana, Texas, and online.

My passion for tutoring started back when I was struggling as a 9th grader in my Geometry class. My teacher, Mrs. Harper, simply told me you can really do well in this class, and walked away :D.

From there, my scores rose dramatically, and within a couple of years I started tutoring other students and was able to see them improve.

I tutor middle and high school students in math, and I also work with adults who are continuing their education in math, as well.

I look forward to working with you!

All tutoring sessions must be paid upfront, prior to the session beginning.

For individual tutoring, the hourly rate is $50, depending on the course.

For group tutoring (2-4 children), it is $30 per child, and lasts for 1.5 hours, depending on the course.

I got started during my junior year of high school, through my peer tutoring class that I took back in 2009.

From there I started to tutor other students in my neighborhood.

I have successfully worked with Middle, High, and College students.

I met with a former Mathnasium owner and had the pleasure to hear about the great things he and has wife did during the decade of them running their business.

What I was most fond of was the impact it had made on the students and the parents him and his wife served.
