Amaya Potter

Hi! My name is Amaya Potter and I am a Junior at Austin Peay State University majoring in Education. I’m from Hendersonville, TN, and a proud graduate of Beech High School. I specialize in tutoring students from Kindergarten through 7th grade in math and spelling, and I bring both experience and passion to every session.

With a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification, I understand how children grow, learn, and thrive academically. I have four years of experience as a Teacher's Assistant. I believe that tutoring provides a supportive and personalized learning environment where students can build confidence, improve their skills, and ultimately raise their grades.

My love for teaching comes from a deep desire to help children reach their full potential. I enjoy making learning fun and engaging, especially for subjects that may seem challenging at first. Every child learns differently, and I strive to meet them where they are to help them succeed.

When I’m not studying or tutoring, you can find me enjoying a good book, staying active through fitness, or playing volleyball.
